Review: Suigo Ultimate Control Shampoo and Conditioner

The lovely Wendy at BeautyWorx (a brand new South African online store) sent each of us Bloggers Who Bless ladies a shampoo and conditioner as part of our goodie bags for the Christmas-in-July celebrations.

I have fine but thick hair: each hair is very fine, but there are a lot of them! I was sent the Ultimate Control combo for damaged and weak hair to try. I have used this shampoo and conditioner pretty much every day since getting it and I really like it. The texture of the shampoo is quite different to other shampoos I have tried. You know when you put normal shampoo on the palm of your hand and then rub your hands together, it feels like the shampoo kind of "sticks" to your hands (for a lack of better description)? Well this shampoo almost feels like it wants to slide off your hands. It's a very interesting texture and you would expect it to make your hair greasy or weighed down, but it doesn't. My hair feels clean (but not stripped), and also not weighed down and greasy. The conditioner is pretty much the same texture and consistency, although slightly thicker and more creamy.

My hair is bouncy and healthy and even the natural curls are more curly! Both products smell delicious and I love the packaging: the black, white, and gold look very classy and modern. You can purchase the shampoo and conditioner for R199.95 each online at Beauty Worx.

  2. Heard so many great things about this range but have yet to try it or the online store. I am always happy when new local beauty stores pop up though :)
