Review: BlendBox Grace Body Scrub

I am a big fan of body scrubs, and an even bigger fan of things that smell nice, so I was delighted to get a fantastic-smelling body scrub at the BWB Christmas-in-July party. I met Miemie from BlendBox at last year's Tierlantynkies where she had a stall and I really liked her products. This time round I got the Grace Body Scrub which is a limited edition scent.

Except for fragrance, the body scrub contains only natural ingredients consisting of a sugar scrub suspended in a variety of oils (grape seed, essential, apricot kernel, and sweet almond). It has the most amazing apple sherbet scent and I have to stop myself from tasting it. Miemie says to her the scent is like champagne on a sparkling summers night on the beach! It is quite a coarse scrub, which is a godsend to my dry and lizard-like winter skin.

This product is aimed at ladies who love the BlendBox products, but want something a little bit different. The Grace range consists of scrubs, butters, and candles, and according to Miemie, this is a once-off fragrance never to be used in another BlendBox product. This upsets me slightly, as I think it's one of the best BlendBox fragrances I have experienced! Please, Miemie, don't take away the Grace!

I also received an adorable little charcoal and mint soap. I haven't used this yet, but after speaking to Miemie I'm very excited to try it! She likes experimenting with new products, and this, along with the vanilla and rooibos, and rooibos and lemon soaps will become part of a special collection.

A 250ml tub of body scrub will cost you R185, but for the month of August you can upsize to a 500ml tub for just R225 (this offer is valid on any of the scrubs). Send an email to Miemieviljoen@blendbox.co.za to place an order. Prices include postage.

Have you ever used BlendBox products? Let me know in the comments section!

Until next time!
